These terms apply to the Lekha Android app, made by DoableLogic. By using Lekha you agree to them. We have kept them short and readable.
Using Lekha
- Lekha is free to use for personal and work purposes.
- Your documents belong to you. Lekha does not upload them, and we never receive them.
- Use Lekha lawfully. Only scan, edit or sign documents you have the right to use, and don't use Lekha to forge or alter official documents.
Your responsibility for your files
Your files are stored only on your phone. If the phone is lost or reset, or the app is uninstalled, files in Lekha's private storage are deleted. Keep Auto-save on, or create backup files, for documents that matter.
Invoices
The invoice maker helps you prepare invoices and quotations, and works out GST from the rates and details you enter. You are responsible for the correctness of your invoices and for meeting your tax obligations. Please check with your accountant when in doubt.
Results
Tools such as exam photo sizing, compression and text recognition aim to meet the sizes and formats you choose, but please check the result before you submit it to an exam portal, bank or government office. Requirements change, and the final check is yours.
No warranty
Lekha is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, DoableLogic is not liable for any loss of data, missed deadlines or indirect damages arising from using the app.
Future paid features
We may offer optional paid features in the future. Everything that is free today will stay free, and any paid option will be clearly marked before you buy it.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the current version always lives on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
